Use

Present Indefinite Tense tense is used to tell about an action which happens regularly. Routine work and universal facts are always told using this tense.

اس زمانہ کا استعمال ایسے کاموں کے بارے میں بتانے کیلئے ہوتا ہے جو باقاعدگی سے ہوتے ہیں۔معمول کے کام اور عالمگیر حقائق کو بیان کرنے کیلئے استعمال ہوتا ہے

Forms of Verb?

First form of verb is used in all types of sentences.

Addition of s and es

S or Es is added after verb only if

Sentence is simple.It shouldn’t be negative or interrogative.
Subject is singular.
Subject is not “I”

if verb ends on S,ch,sh,x,o then es is added after verb.otherwise s is added.

How to Make Sentences?

Making of Sentences Is quite simple for this tense.

Simple Sentences

(Subject+verb+object)

In simple sentences helping verb is not usually used.It is used only when we want to intensify a statement.

I go to bazar.	میں بازار جاتا ہوں۔
The farmers plough.	کسان ہل چلاتے ہیں
The birds fly in the air.	پرندے ہوا میں اڑتے ہیں۔
We sing a song	ہن گانا گاتے ہیں۔
she washes the clothes.	وہ کپڑے دھوتی ہے۔

Negative Sentences

(Subject+Do/Does Not+verb+object)

Just by adding do/does not to a simple sentence we can make negative sentences.Following are the examples with a little addition to above sentences.

He does not go to bazar.	وہ بازار نہیں جاتا۔
The farmers don’t plough.	کسان ہل نہیں چلاتے ۔
The birds don’t fly in the air.	پرندے ہوا می نہیں اڑتے ۔
We do not sing a song.	ہم گانا نہیں گاتے ۔

Interrogative Sentences

(Do/Does+Subject+verb+object)

So interrogative sentences are simply made by adding helping verb in the start of sentences.

Does he go to school?	کیا وہ سکول جاتا ہے؟
Do they obey their parents?	کیا وہ اپنے والدین کا حکم مانتے ہیں؟
Do we study?	کیا ہم پڑھتے ہیں؟
Do I not go for a walk?	کیا میں سیر کو نہیں جاتا؟
Does she sings a song?	کیا وہ گانا گاتی ہے؟
