Present Perfect Tense

میں اردو فقرات کے آخر میں ‘چکا ہے’چکی ہے’چکا ہوں’ وغیرہ آتا ہے۔

Use

Present perfect tense is used to tell about an action which has completed in near past. It shows a link between present and past.

اس زمانہ کا استعمال ایسے کاموں کے بارے میں بتانے کیلئے ہوتا ہے جو ماضی قریب میں مکمل ہو چکے ہوں۔

وہ کھیل چکے ہیں

میں جا ر چکا ہوں۔

بارش ہو چکی ہے۔

Form Of Verb?

3rd Form of Verb is used in all types of sentences.

Simple Sentences

Subject+Has/Have+verb-3rd +object

Helping verb is used in all types of sentences.

I have gone to school.	میں بازار جاچکا ہوں۔
We have jumped.	ہم اچھل چکا ہوں۔
You have wasted my time	تم میرا وقت ضائع کر چکے ہو۔
He has sung a song.	وہ گانا گا چکا ہے۔
It has rained.	بارش ہو چکی ہے۔

Negative Sentences

Subject+Has/Have Not+verb-ing+object

Putting not after a helping verb makes negative sentences.It can be done with a little change.

I have not gone to gym.	میں جم نہیں جا چکا ہوں۔
We have not played.	ہم کھیل نہیں چکے۔
You have not written.	تم لکھ نہیں چکے۔
He has not sung a song.	وہ گانا نہیں گا چکاہے۔
It has not rained.	بارش نہیں ہو چکی ہے۔

Interrogative Sentences

Has/Have+Subject+verb 3rd +object

Just by adding helping verb in the start of sentence interrogative sentences are made.

Has he gone to gym?	کیا وہ جم جا چکا ہے؟
Have we played?	کیاہم کھیل چکے ہیں؟
Have you written?	کیا تم میرا وقت ضائع کر چکے ہو؟
Has he sung a song?	کیا وہ گانا گا چکا ہے؟
Has it rained?	کیا بارش ہو چکی ہے؟
